The staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment we walked in.I am not from Waconia and I was just in town for the day but honestly, I would consider driving two hours just to book with Tony again. We typically get massages twice a year and have struggled to find a spot that we genuinely feel comfortable and relaxed in since moving. Waconia Spa was so inviting upon coming in, treated us right away, and asked us before hand our trouble areas that we wanted more focus on. They were also very friendly and professional. This was my first professional, medium-deep tissue massage, 35 years old, have been an athlete and avid weightlifter for over 2 decades. Went in on a Sunday evening after making an appointment online. Once I made the appointment I received a prompt and friendly phone call from Rick who clarified my preferences and any injuries, etc., (great communication). On arrival, I was kindly greeted by Su. I felt very comfortable immediately and her perfect mix of warmth and professionalism was relieving. I was politely shown my room and gently told what to do to prepare and given my privacy. During the massage her ability to actually feel out my tension/injuries was incredible and relaxing.The entire experience was extremely tranquil and natural (nearly fell asleep and will fall asleep like a baby tonight). Though, to stimulate the muscle/break adhesions, sometimes she had certain techniques that were equally relieving/rejuvenating but not something youd sleep through. (Again, I did opt for the medium/deep tissue option, which is exactly what I wanted.)With all of that said, if you're on the fence about getting a massage done for the first time or for anyone else looking for serious relaxation and relief, I cant imagine you will be disappointed. Su was an amazing choice, very devoted to what she does and a clear expert. They called to check in on appointment details and payment and encourage me to have some tea before coming in.Staff was friendly and got started right away. I didn’t expect hot stones and hot towels in my 1 hour service for the price but was pleasantly surprised. The massage also included some light stretching. Was greeted with water after service. For the price and ability to quickly get me booked day of I think the massage was worth it.I saw Sue and she was very kind.
